In this capacity, Medimiks, in the last ten years, delivered seven turn key molecular biology and genetics laboratory projects, and provided consultancy & material support to fourteen labs in different sizes. Starting in 2000, Medimiks also started to distribute Vysis Genomic Technology Company’s products in Turkey. Currently, Medimiks is the market leader of FISH products in Turkey with 90% market share, and is the number one distributor of “pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD)” probes in Europe and Middle East.

ATL R&D Reproductive Biology & Genetics Laboratory was founded by Dr. Moncef BenKhalifa in Paris In 1998. ATL provides consultancy, technology transfer and training to IVF, andrology, genetics, and molecular biology laboratories all around the world. ATL, geographically extended its services to the whole Europe as well as Middle East and North Africa. In 2002, ATL established and validated a new production facility for FISH probes and micro-array production.

In 2003, ATL and Medimiks decided to merge their companies and formed the two new companies located in Paris and Istanbul. These companies now work together in the field of biotechnology and provide advanced technology and complete product mix to IVF and genetics laboratories. The reputation of their services is based upon the quality of their know-how; from production through to sales and after sales technical support.

In 2004, ATL-Medimiks has started to provide specialized diagnostic services such as “genome profiling” and “cancer genetics” as a service partner of Global Genetics.
